Details Of The CitiBusiness AAdvantage MasterCard Application

Author: Beth Derkowitz

The CitiBusiness AAdvantage MasterCard provides several benefits to those that are looking for a business account that will help them fund their business ventures with a bit of a reward in the process as well. The sheer benefit of this credit card is that you will be able to earn free travel for business related expenses on American Airlines. The rewards are limited to this airline but are still quite considerable. Those business owners that have very good credit can earn a good amount of free travel.

First, a look at the important things is in order. The CitiBusiness AAdvantage MasterCard provides for an APR of 17.99% on purchases and 22.99% variable APR on cash advances. There is no introductory offer on this credit card and it does provide for a fee of $75 annually although this fee is waived for the first year. In addition, it uses the method of average daily balance to calculate finance charges which can help those that are carrying a balance month to month on this line of credit.

The rewards that the CitiBusiness AAdvantage MasterCard provides are very good. You will earn a flat one mile per dollar spent on the purchases make with this credit card. There are several restrictions on the use of these rewards and the miles accumulated which you should learn more about before selecting. Your miles are compatible with your Frequent Flyer Program. You have a limit of 150,000 miles per year unless you have another AAdvantage account that qualifies. On your first purchase, you will earn 20,000 bonus miles.

Although this credit card for business owners provides for discounts and free air travel, it is important to realize that it is limited to American Airlines and that there are restrictions that apply to when rewards can be used and how they are accumulated. If you are looking for a good credit card that will provide a decent interest rate, this may be a good choice for your needs.
