Training a Pomeranian is not very difficult. Start training this dog when it is very young. The reward method is the best form of training for this small dog. This breed tends to get distracted easily; therefore it is important to se that it is at a secluded place when being trained.

The training should be held at the same place regularly. The dog should be taught to relieve itself at a particular place every day. This breed like other breeds will listen and obey the commands of its master. However the key to training is interaction. Therefore it is important to talk to the dog as much as possible. Physical contact like petting and hugging will also go a long way in building a rapport between you and your pet.

The dog needs to be trained in private and once it has learnt a few tricks it can be taken to a public place like the park and trained once again. This will enable the dog to obey you commands both in private and also in a public place where there are a large number of dogs and people.
