Many said it would never come, that there was no possible way for us to get so far deep into the Greek Alphabet. Indeed perhaps it was the same who were in disbelief when the 2005 Tropical Hurricane Season started two-weeks early or that we had three Cat Five Tropical Huricanes before the end of October. The fact that we ran through all the names in the Huricane Season with five weeks to go seemed utterly impossible.

Yet we have seen that and more. Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and sister Wilma seemed almost surreal. When tropocal hurricane Wilam went from a mere tropcial depression to a full-fledged Cat five hurricane in only 18-hours, most were amazed, it was if this strom was possessed by the devil himself, yet it was merely a reminder to all that we are guests on the surface of the Planet and Mother Nature rules here.

Tropical Hurricane Gamma also has moved quickly from a topical depression to a tropicla stoem. In fact it is horrific to even watch as these storms just keep coming two and three at a time with less than a few days in between. How much more can the humans take of this? And the questions that all meteorologists are pondering is this record breaking tropical hurricane season going to end on time or will it like its start be extended a couple of weeks? And the question which almost seemed impossible to ask until today; what happens if we run out of all the Greek Names too? Think on this.
